On 15 April 2010, CCOO. called to all affiliated tour guides, tour managers and entertainers for a meeting. The aim was to officially launch the ETLC campaign in order to give a voice to and steer the concerns of this category of workers at European level.



The exchange of information was valuable: within this well-spread community there is a tangible feeling that a higher representation and organisation at EU level is required. CCOO. share this analysis, and strongly support the ETLC campaign.



At the end of the meeting it was agreed to promote and support the campaign and to recommend to the affiliates to use the forum in order to exchange experiences and information. The participants highlighted the importance of sending as many responses to the on-line questionnaire as possible, and committed to send word of it to the maximum number of colleagues
