UNI Europa Youth Committee 2013

We are pleased to invite your UNI Europa affiliates to be represented at the UNI-Europa Youth Committee Meeting which will be held in Albufeira, Portugal, and is open to young trade unionists under the age of 35.

For 2013, we have decided to take advantage of the out of season rates the Algarve has to offer to ensure more participation as low cost flights are also available.

The meeting will start on Wednesday, 6 February, at 15.00 and will finish on Friday, 8 February at 17:30. The conference party will be held on the evening of the 8th, so all participants should plan to leave on the Saturday morning.

At this meeting of the UNI-Europa Youth Committee, a new Steering Group will be elected and a new UNI-Europa Youth Action Plan for the next 2 years will be adopted.

The meeting will take place in the hotel conference room at the Hotel Apartments Paraiso de Albufeira, Rua Do Municipio, Lt 31, Cerro Alagoa, 8200-161 Albufeira, Portugal.

Simultaneous interpretation will be available to and from English and French. Spanish will be provided subject to sufficient participation. Passive interpretation will be available from Italian, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and German. It would, however, be beneficial for participants to have some knowledge of English in order to be able to communicate more easily with each other.

The deadline for registration is 1 November 2012 so please register as soon as possible.
