The ILO hosted the Youth Unemployment Forum in Geneva on May 23-25 where one hundred young men and women (ages 18-29), from all regions of the world shared their experiences and discuss initiatives to promote decent work for young people.

In the same week, the ILO released a report that says the youth unemployment is getting worse. The fact that young people are 3 times more likely to be unemployed than adults. With over 75 million young people unemployed in the world, actively looking for work, governments are being urged to take steps to address youth unemployment and take it seriously.
