One third of all workers in Spain are employed through temporary contracts, around 20 % of which are handled by employment agencies. Nevertheless, the Spanish agencies handle only 1 % of temp contracts what is less than half the EU average of 2.5 %.



According to some statistics, 1/3 of people working on temporary contracts in Spain end up signing permanent ones.
