On December 18, the TDC, the biggest company in all aspects of telecommunication in Denmark, has completed the sale of 24 % of its shares in the Polish mobile operator Polkomtel to Vodafone and 76 per cent of its shares in Polkomtel to the Polish shareholders in Polkomtel (KGHM Polska Miedz, PKN Orlen, Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne and Weglokoks).



Completion of the sales agreements with Vodafone and the Polish shareholders has been awaiting the lifting of the injunction imposed against TDC and the Polish shareholders under a dispute between TDC and Vodafone on the sales process, which lifting has now taken place.
