Dear sisters, dear brothers, 

We want to thank all of you for the support you have given us during the past year. Thank you for allowing us to be part of the struggles of each one of your unions. Thank you for all the information, ideas and contributions we have received and which have allowed us to better understand the situations currently faced by our continent, and thus act accordingly.

Thank you for your daily commitment to improving the lives of workers in the Americas; for making work more dignified; for full recognition of efforts.

Thank you for beating the drums every day to give workers the right to join a union without fear of being persecuted or even murdered. Thank you for defending the right to collective bargaining as a mechanism for redistribution of wealth. For fighting for inclusion, equality and respect.

Dear sisters, dear brothers: we toast to you, to the workers whom you represent and their families; may 2014 see us more united, more determined, and more willing than ever to build a strong and representative union movement.
