In 2009 UNI Equal Opportunities launched the "Break the Circle" of violence campaign, to draw attention on the issue of violence against women. The campaign, which has been running for 5 years has addressed different issues regarding violence, from how inequality and discrimination generate violence, to violence at work, to men as agents of change. 

This year, UNI Equal Opportunities will look into the issue of the costs of violence from what it entails to the impact it has in national economies. 

So mark your calendars for Tuesday, November 25th when our 16 days of activism begin and don't forget to send in your stories and activities so we can share them with the world.
