Wednesday, December 18, 2013 , CGT and UNI Europa Graphical & Packaging were interviewed by the Directorate General Competition of the European Commission on the Publicis and Omnicom merger . This meeting enabled CGT and UNI Europa Graphical to explain in details the problems and consequences of this merger.

We requested the European Commission to be vigilant and demanding with the future world No. 1 company in the advertising industry and we urged it to take consideration of all our recommendations.

 
This meeting with the DG Competition is only a step in the process , UNI Europa Graphical, CGT and all other national trade unions concerned, are determined to put the merger under surveillance, to continue the mobilization and to counter all the adverse effects of the merger.
