Workers around the world stood together on 9 April to show unity around the goal of a new global agreement with ISS. We called on the ISS owner, Goldman Sachs, to recognise that it can influence the lives of over 300,00 women by signing a global agreement with UNI.



In London, UNITE took to the street with its usual flair and colour, while UNI's delegation in Geneva battled stormy weather conditions to bring the message to Goldman Sachs in Switzerland. In Hong Kong, the HKCTU handed out leaflets and presented one to a local Goldman Sachs manager who met with the delegation outside the offices. SIPTU members and officials leafletted the company's offices in Dublin, while the UGT and CC.OO were also able to make the message heard in Madrid.







Union activists in Bangalore distributed leaflets and talked to Goldman Sachs workers. In the United States, the SEIU leafletted Goldman Sachs from coast to coast in 8 cities - Boston, Chicago, Houston, LA, New York, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington DC.



In Melbourne, Australia, members of the LHMU acknowledged their positive relationship with ISS, but encouraged the company to extend the same rights to workers in other countries.







Other participating unions included those in Sweden and France.
