Development of global social dialog in leading multinationals and strengthening global trade union network in US-based Kimberly-Clark were in the focus of the meeting of USW’ International Vice President Jon Geenen, UNITE’s Tony Burke and UNI’s Adriana Rosenzvaig.



In 2007, in Chicago, UNI’s Global trade union network in Kimberly-Clark was established and involve key trade unions from countries where company is operating: USW, (USA), Unite (UK), FCT-CC.OO (Spain), Filpac (France), CEPPWAWU (S.A.), FFPT (Thailand) an many others.



UNI’s Global trade union network in Kimberly-Clark now is active working towards global social dialog that will insure implementation of trade union rights and decent working conditions.



USW plays very important role in taking this initiative forward.

Next annual meeting of the Global Union Network will take place in November 2008 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
