The international domestic workers' network (www.domesticworkerrights.org) is working to ensure that domestic/household workers’ representatives are included in the standard setting process, resulting in an ILO Convention that incorporates their needs and concerns. The network also provides assistance in the organisation of domestic workers' unions, allows workers to share experiences and information, represents workers at international level, and offers support to all domestic workers.



The network has published materials that may help domestic workers' unions support the domestic workers' initiative at the ILO, and get involved in the process. The website also includes ideas for action for domestic workers' unions that would like to contribute to the initiative at national level.



UNI would like to support this initiative and encourage its affiliates to get involved.
