A delegation from UNI Graphical visited the Elanders plant in Brazil and were warmly received by the management.



The delegation included the President of Conatig Leonardo Del Roy who was in Sweden when the Global Agreement with Elanders was signed in early 2009. Steve Walsh the Head of UNI Graphical, Marvin Largaespada, the Regional Director for UNI Graphical Americas and other members of STIG.



Jonas Brannerud, Country Manager Brazil and Mattias Olofsson, Operations Manager for Brasil gave the delegation a presentation on the operations. Jonas spoke about the importance of having a good relationship with the Union and said that Elanders as a Company prided themselves on treating employees equally throughout their operations.



Leonardo Del Roy spoke about the importance of the global agreement and the need for the agreement to continue to be honoured.



Steve Walsh referred to his recent opportunity to meet with the CEO Mr Magnus Nilsson, where he had raised the lack of response from the operations in the USA which was in stark contrast to the rest of Elanders operations.



He said this was causing UNI Graphical concern.
