Port Spain. The Caribbean Association for Feminist Research and Action – CAFRA, wants to commemorate the significant and memorable date of 8 of March, highlighting the historic achievements of Women in Trinidad &Tobago, and gives a simple brief on the national position of the Women’s Movement in T&T.



On this 100^th anniversary of International Women’s Day, CAFRA T&T calls for the adoption of the Trinidad and Tobago National Gender Policy and Action Plan, the development of which was agreed to by Cabinet almost a decade ago in September 2002.
