The following message was received from Pal Pecze President of the Hungarian Postal Workers Union,



I´d like to inform you that level of rivers considerably increased in some parts of Hungary during the last 2 weeks and many inhabited places have been flooded. A lot of houses, public buildings, shops etc. have been flooded out by the rising water. Unfortunately, the disaster has destroyed also houses of many Hungarian postal workers and their families. Several houses totally collapsed.



In the spirit of solidarity we are collecting contributions for postal workers suffering from flood-disaster. Thank you for your help.

For the benefit of Hungarian postal workers suffered damages caused by flood in 2010 the Hungarian Postal Trade Union is organising a solidarity action consisting of collecting contributions for postal workers victims of the disastrous flood in Hungary. All concerned postal workers can get a part of these contributions. Let´s stick together in this time of need!



You are requested to take part in collecting money: transfer an amount that you can afford to an account that the Hungarian Postal Workers have opened exclusively for this purpose.
